PICK YOUR OWN

Self-picking fruit, vegetables, and flowers

The orchard is open to both adults and children, allowing them to pick fruit and vegetables directly from the plants, at their peak of organoleptic quality and nutritional value.

Practicing self-picking of seasonal products is a relatively recent trend that has quickly gained popularity throughout Northern Italy. Besides being a great idea for an alternative day out, this DIY practice offers several advantages to consumers. They get the chance to see the places where the products are grown, touch them, pick the fruit directly from the tree, and choose the best, freshest, and ripest produce. It’s a unique experience, full of emotions, that allows the whole family to spend time outdoors, immersed in nature.

Depending on the season, you can find fruits, vegetables, and aromatic herbs, all strictly organic and cultivated using natural methods, fully respecting the seasonal rhythms.
In spring, the fields transform into a colorful palette of tulips: you can choose and pick the varieties and quantities you desire independently.
The tulip is the symbol of spring and one of the first flowers to bloom each year. It has always been one of the most beloved flowers for its simplicity, shape, and variety of colors.

For the self-picking of fruits and vegetables, it is necessary to make a reservation, specifying your desired time slot.
No reservation is required to access the tulip fields.
Entrance costs €5.00 per person and includes 2 tulips. Rules will be provided for proper picking, ensuring that plants are not damaged.
Please bring scissors and baskets for picking.
The basket with fruits or vegetables will be weighed at the end, and payment will be based on the amount collected.
The cost for a cut tulip without a bulb is €1.50.

It is forbidden to bring dogs and other animals.

By reservation, it is possible to stop for breakfast in the dedicated tasting areas inside the seventeenth-century mansion or enjoy a beautiful picnic in the orchard.
There are also large outdoor spaces equipped with tables, chairs, and umbrellas, set in a unique environment.
To complete your shopping with what you have picked or what is not yet available for harvest, there is a small farm shop offering direct sales of transformed products: sugar-free jams, honey from our bees, potted vegetables and fruits, spreads, extra virgin olive oil from our seaside olive grove, and much more…

The service will be available from the end of March.

Here is a small guide of things to know before your visit:

  1. Allow at least one hour for the visit to the cultivated fields: enjoy the moment without rushing.
  2. Follow the instructions we will provide at the entrance to correctly pick fruits, vegetables, or flowers, ensuring that you avoid tearing or damaging the plants or bulbs.
  3. Take a full tour of the fields before starting the harvest. Choose and decide what to pick, cut only what you have selected, and make sure to take everything you have gathered.
  4. Be careful not to step on the flowers and plants. Always stay on the designated walkway, respecting both those who have cultivated the fields and those who will come after you.
