Multi-flower honey is the product of a mixture of different nectars collected by the bees during the same period of time. Each mixture is unique depending on the area where it was produced, the time of year and the season. All variables that create different combinations in the relationship between the flowers and the bees, giving rise to unique flavour variations.
Tasting our millefiori at the foot of the Prealpi Orobiche, you will hear the rosy notes of the locust tree mixed with those of dandelion, horse chestnut and clover prevail.
Our wildflower honey is obtained without any kind of artificial transformation, from the nectar of wild flora, with absolute respect for bees, their well-being and the natural product cycle. We have chosen bees from indigenous breed to produce honey in an unspoilt environment, renouncing intensive production and chemical treatments: we wait on nature's time and protect the rich floral variety of our estate.
To keep nutrients intact and guarantee its purity, the most important thing is keep it raw, or naturally produced and in an artisanal manner, with bees that foraging on various types of flowers, and not through an industrial blending process; the raw honey is taken directly from the honeycomb and simply filtered and decanted to remove any traces of wax and natural impurities that may be present.
Collection area: Villa Viscarda - Colli di Bergamo Park
The beekeeping hives are located in the wooded areas of our property, far from intense polluting emissions. The honey therefore retains its natural characteristics, without being treated in any way. We do not feed the bees with any sugary substances and we do not use any chemically synthesised substances or antibiotics.
