The majestic 17th-century property “Villa La Viscarda,” nestled in a 3-hectare park on the hills of Città Alta in Bergamo, has been in my family since 1971.
In 2008, we began a renovation and restoration project for the main house and stables, fully respecting the original layout and materials of the era, creating a perfect blend of original features and modern amenities.
The main villa, covering approximately 1500 square meters, overlooks a large terrace where the largest Diospyros-Kaki in Europe stands.
The courtyards of the property are connected by arcades, which house additional rooms where guests can relax, such as the billiard room, wine cellars, laundry rooms, saddlery, dog rooms, and car garages. The upper floors feature guest apartments, staff areas, and a large barn with high ceilings.
Separate spaces are dedicated to equestrian activities: the stables, storage areas for hay and grain, and a room for horse showers and drying; there are also several paddocks and a 40×20-meter equestrian arena for dressage/obstacles.
In the park, crossed by the access driveway, you will find numerous centuries-old tall trees and a beautiful spring water pond.

The desire to make even more beautiful what we inherited from our German grandfather Herbert, the deep connection with the countryside, animals, and nature, since childhood, led us to eventually create our Agricultural Business.
The land recovery project was realized with the creation of a small fruit plantation, a mixed orchard, an olive grove, a vegetable garden cultivated with native plants, and several beehives for beekeeping.
We are deeply connected to the agritourism concept of offering hospitality in close contact with nature and the farm’s activities, a concept that you will also find reflected in our kitchen, where the plant-based elements from our land become the core of our culinary offerings. These are complemented by products from other local artisans whose work we greatly admire, all while providing a friendly and professional service that makes guests feel at home.
