Acacia honey
€18,00
Monofloral honey, produced by our bees living near the plants of Robinia Psuedoacacia within our property and draw exclusively from them.
It is from its flowers, when pollinated by bees, that this type of honey is obtained, with its vaguely floral scent and very characteristic sweet and vanilla flavour.
Acacia honey is very clear, almost transparent and liquid in consistency. It has a very low crystallisation rate and can remain in the liquid state for a very long time, due to its high fructose to glucose concentration. In contrast, honeys with a lower ratio tend to crystallise more quickly.
Collection area: Villa Viscarda - Colli di Bergamo Park
The beekeeping hives are located in the wooded areas of our property, far from intense polluting emissions. The honey therefore retains its natural characteristics, without being treated in any way. We do not feed the bees with any sugary substances and we do not use any chemically synthesised substances or antibiotics.
